Create a free account, open your dashboard and press Add monitor. Paste the address of the page you want watched, for example your home page, and choose how often it should be checked.

What happens next

• We request the page on the interval you picked.
• If it fails twice in a row we check again from another location (paid plans) and then mark it down.
• You get an alert by email straight away, and again when it is back up.

Add more alert channels under Alerts, and publish a status page under Status pages so your customers can see what is going on.
